- 1^st General meeting was held on 11^th August 1987 to form the first Executive Committee and to approve the constitutions

- The official inauguration was held on 12^th October 1987 with 15 members joined

- Being a founding member of the Federation of Asian & Oceania Pest Managers Association (FAOPMA) in 1988

- 1st constitutional amendment was made in 1989

- Being the joint organiser of 1990 FAOPMA Convention in Hong Kong

- “Code of Practice” for members was firstly published in 1990

- “User’s Manual” for members was firstly published in 1991

- Participation in the “Agriculture Carnival 1993” organised by the AFD

- 2^nd Constitutional amendment was made in 1992

- Extended reciprocating membership with National Pest Management Association (NPMA) and New Zealand Pest Control Association (NZPCA)

- Being the host of FAOPMA Convention 1997

- 3^rd Constitutional amendment was made in 1997

- 4^th Constitutional amendment was made in 1999

- Association’s website firstly launched in 2001

- 5^th Constitutional amendment was made in 2009
