Anti-mosquito Campaign 2026 (Phase III)

Please be informed that the Phase III of the Anti-mosquito Campaign 2026 will be carried out from 3rd August 2026 to 23rd October 2026. The objectives of the campaign are (i) to heighten public awareness on the potential risk of dengue fever, chikungunya fever and Japanese encephalitis; (ii) to encourage community participation and forge close partnership of government departments concerned in anti-mosquito works and (iii) to eliminate mosquito breeding sites.

Effective anti-mosquito work could never be achieved without concurrent treatment of all mosquito sources. Synchronized anti-mosquito programmes by government pest control operators, private pest control practitioners and parties concerned are essential to the success of this campaign. Should your members need any technical advice on mosquito prevention and control, they could contact the Pest Control Advisory Section of our department.

We trust our concerted effort in mosquito control would lead to a better living environment in Hong Kong.
